Netherton Foundry Bake / Griddle Plate / 38cm

This griddle plate from Netherton Foundry is made of thick black iron and retains heat exceptionally well, able to withstand high temperatures for extended periods (think sourdough bread). Suitable on the hob, barbeque, or in the oven, they are heavy-duty, durable, and, most importantly, versatile. Use them asplanchas for charring and searing burgers, or as a pizza stone. Integrated handles make them easy to transport in and out of the oven, but do be careful and always wear oven gloves. Pre-seasoned with flax oil for a natural easy-release finish that gets better over time as you maintain and season the pan. Read our guide to pan seasoning here.
