Award-winning Somerset designer Sarah Petherick’s unique range of contemporary tableware is hand-carved and finished by highly skilled craftsmen in Vietnam. The natural materials used are from sustainable sources. Water buffalo meat is a big part of the Vietnamese diet, and the discarded horn would otherwise be incinerated, releasing carbon into the atmosphere. The rosewood is re-purposed from a furniture maker’s off-cuts. Because of the natural materials used, each item is unique ‘ the rosewood and horn will vary in colour and pattern from piece to piece.
